Scota Re-Visited

Over the past few months I have been approached, on many occassions, to pass comment about the figure of Scota. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Scota, she was the supposedly pseudo-historical Egyptian princess who gave rise to the ancient Gaels/Scots people. Scota was the subject matter of my first best-selling book Kingdom of the Ark. At the time of researching the book, there was very little information with regards to said character. Only a few literary sources here and there. I had little knowledge at the time, and still do to an extent, at just how much an impact Kingdom of the Ark would have on various peoples lifes. So, after some consideration, I have decided to share some of these stories with you (naturally with the peoples permission).

This brings me neatly to the beautiful piece of artwork below that was sent to me recently by Araanna. This vibrant and stunning piece represents a figure of Scota, as drawn by Araanna, and I would like to share it with you all.

Further stories will be posted at random. But if you have been affected by Scota in some way, please do get in touch. I would be most interested to hear your tale.
